The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library requires visitors and staff to wear masks Monday-Friday from 8-9am.

Masks are not required after 9am Monday-Friday and Saturday and after noon on Sunday. The library strongly encourages visitors to wear masks inside the library. Customers may be required to wear masks for programs or services in which social distancing is not a possibility. We will continue to provide masks.

Ginger Park

As the library’s communications editor Ginger helps spread the word about all the amazing library resources, services and staff. She loves reading fiction and is working to keep her To Be Read list under 100. Ginger is also a volunteer at Helping Hands Humane Society.
