YWCA Northeast Kansas Racial Justice Initiative, in partnership with Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, is launching a community book club that will feature books written by indigenous people and people of color. All are invited to participate in bi-monthly meetings to discuss the books and relevant social issues within our community. These discussions will be facilitated conversations by YWCA's racial justice facilitators. Our first book is White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo and it will be discussed during three meetings (Jan 7 and Feb 4).
