Silents in the Cathedral

Friday, October 25, 2019 | 7-10pm | Grace Episcopal Cathedral, 701 SW 8th Movies

Our feature presentation for the 22nd Annual Silents in the Cathedral is the 1927 classic The Cat and the Canary.  This "old dark house" mystery focuses on a group of greedy relatives who gather for the reading of a will.  At 7pm film historian Denise Morrison will provide historical perspective of the film. Then musicians Marvin Faulwell and Bob Keckeisen will bring the film to life with a rousing musical score. Program funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. The following shorts will be shown before the main feature:  The Uneasy Three, Felix in Hollywood and The First 100 Years.  (Shorts lineup tentative.)
