55+ and Job Hunting

Monday, August 26, 2019 | 1-2pm | Marvin Auditorium 101C Adults

The Senior Community Service Employment Program is a paid training opportunity for low income seniors (55 and over) that provides an opportunity to get paid bi-weekly between 20-30 hours a week to train at a local nonprofit. By helping these agencies better serve the community, seniors gather a paycheck, updated job skills, references and social supports they may need in their journey to more gainful employment. At the end of their time in the program, they will graduate into the workforce with a good job! Kyle Roggenkamp from the Senior Community Service Employment Program will be here to inform people 55+ about this opportunity.
