What happens when you shine a flashlight at a leaf? Does the light shine through it? Explore the interactions between lights and leaves!

Materials:

• Leaves
• Flashlight

Directions:

1. Collect leaves of different sizes, shapes, and colors.
2. Use a flashlight to shine light at each of the leaves.
3. Use your observation skills to see what happens. Does the light shine through on all of the leaves?
4. Explore with the different leaves and light to see if the leaves react the same way or differently!
