The cookie dough was mixed, the oven was turned on so all that was needed were the teens to make their own very special holiday cookies. Several had never had the opportunity to make homemade cookies but one teen said he and his mother make cookies all of the time. It didn’t seem to matter whether they had experience in cookie making or were a novice because all of the cookies were unique. Many of the cookies were eaten on the spot but some were wrapped in Saran Wrap and tied with a bow. Friends or relatives would be getting a very special gift.
