Teen Tech Week is all about celebrating the ways that teens use technology at the public library.  You can play video games and use laptops in the Edge teen room, download audiobooks and free music with your library card, and a lot more.

Leave a comment saying your favorite way to use technology at the library and you will have a chance to win an awesome USB flash drive rubber bracelet. One comment will be randomly chosen on Monday, March 21 and the winner will get the bracelet.  The winner must be between 12 and 18 years old and live in Shawnee County.

Two members of the library’s Teen Advisory Board share what’s on their tech wish list:

First it was the iPod, and then only recently came the iJuke. A descendent from the original iHome, the iJuke is the latest version and resembles a vintage jukebox. The iJuke has the classic feel of the 1950s including the patent wood exterior. And don’t worry about the type of iPod that you have since it comes with adaptors for all types, even an iPhone.  A bit pricey, the iJuke tends to run at around $150-$200 at target.com and amazon.com. However, most agree that the iJuke and the personal touch it brings to your home is worth every penny. Loads of Love, Harrison and Colleen

While they’re dreaming of the iJuke, you can share your favorite technology at the library in the comments for a chance to win!
