Rockin’ to the Spirit of the Season

Whether it’s family time or time for a romantic evening by the fire with the one you love, music is a perfect mood-setter. Think of the library when you think of what holiday music to play. Check out or download tunes instead of buying them and save your money for something nice for yourself or the kids.

Creative ways to make and listen to music as a family

A new book from folk singers Nerissa Nields and Katryna Nields offers all families (even the ones who don’t consider themselves “musical”) ideas and instruction. Plus, watch a video of Lissa and her sister singing a Nields song together on a car ride with a 2 year old. Because that’s what making music as a family is all about!

Songs of the Season

Starting December 1, enjoy the sounds of school choirs, instrumental groups and local talent filling the library’s rotunda. Stop by during your lunch hour for a musical treat as the holiday season approaches. Go to www.tscpl.org for the most up-to-date complete schedule.
