The League of Women Voters of Topeka-Shawnee County hosts luncheons at the library the first Tuesday of every month with the intent of creating a more informed citizenry. At an upcoming talk in May, Vince Frye, president of Downtown Topeka, Inc., gives an update on downtown redevelopment.
