The Library Foundation has received a $200,000 gift from the Capitol Federal® Foundation to fund a new bookmobile in 2014.
Beginning October 1 bookmobiles will add three new stops to their community schedule. Check out this blog post to find the stops near your home, work or school.
The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library and The Library Foundation will announce the receipt of a major gift from Capitol Federal® Foundation to fund a new bookmobile in 2014. John B. Dicus, Capitol Federal® Chairman, and Gina Millsap, TSCPL CEO, will reveal the amount of the major gift on Thursday, September 26.
The bookmobiles will be out of service Monday August 26th through Saturday August 31st for scheduled maintenance. They will resume their regular schedule on Tuesday September 3rd after the Labor Day holiday.
