Search the Kansas Talking Books Catalog and Request Titles

Library users with their login and password information can search and request titles through the Kansas Talking Books catalog online: WebOPAC. They may also view their reading records, book requests, books currently on loan, titles read and subject preferences. Current users may contact Talking Books for their logins and passwords.

There are several online Help screens for the WebOPAC. If you would like staff assistance searching the catalog weekdays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, please phone or email the office and a Talking Books staff member will help.

Search the National Library Service Catalog

Library users can search the general National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped Book Catalog online by selecting either one of the links below. Please note the NLS catalog contains only title information. To request books online and check their availability, please select the WeBOPAC link above.

Text
The text interface includes pages for Quick search, Single Term search, and Multiple Term search of the NLS catalog. Recommended for searchers using screen-reading software such as JAWS.

Please be aware not all titles in Voyager are available through Talking Books. The catalog includes records from several commercial sources such as Recordings for the Blind and Dyslexic and Bookshare.org which are not directly affiliated with the NLS Program.

Library users signed up for Braille and Audio Reading Dwnload (BARD) can utilize the basic searches on the download website.
