Kansas author Kathryn Movius will talk about the process of writing and publishing her first young adult novel, The Double T’s…Cowboys At Heart as part of the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library’s Sunday Afternoons with Kansas Authors series on Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 2:00-3:00pm in the Topeka Room (Rm 204).
Fourteen-year-old twins Tyran and Tyrel, the “Double T’s” showcase the work and adventures possible when growing up on a ranch. Meet the twins, their mom, the ranch hands and their friends, Jeff and Jam, in this western style action/adventure. The story also features their loyal horses, Chum and Trusty. The Double T’s…Cowboys At Heart was written for the young adult in each of us.
Kathryn Movius was born in California but came to Kansas to attend St. Mary’s College before briefly returning to California. She now lives near Delia, Kansas with her husband and daughter.
