First Place team with a score of 83 at Trivia Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library

The library’s popular trivia programs bring in over 300 people to test their trivial knowledge alongside their coworkers, friends, and family.

Questions at the events this weekend ranged from identifying John Williams soundtracks and Woody Guthrie’s politics to calculating a math problem about hotdogs, Olympics trivia and figuring out Presidential puns.

The top three teams at each event won prizes, and everyone had a great time finding out what they know (and don’t know!) The first place teams also win bragging rights and a brief photo session with their TROPHY!

The next trivia programs at the library are scheduled for Friday, September 28, 2012 from 6:30-9PM and Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 3-5:30 pm. Registration for those events begins on August 1 – call 785-580-4540 to reserve a spot for your team.
