Missed 2010? See it Again in a Series of Web Videos

Topekans and Shawnee Countians can look for familiar faces and hear about the many stories that they wrote when they used the library in 2010. Listen and watch a 6-video story of the year in the life of the library.

“The project shows you treasured moments at the library and discusses the vital role it serves in the community. We’re a community meeting place, a destination for citizens of all ages,” said Diana Friend, Communications and Marketing Manager. “Catch up on the best stories from 2010 and learn some interesting facts about library usage, staff, collections and services to the community in this annual report.”

The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library is 21st-century, landmark library, and features the Alice C. Sabatini Art Gallery, the Millennium Café, the Chandler Booktique Gift Shop, meeting rooms, and free computer and Internet access and training.

Library hours are Mon. through Fri. 9 am to 9 pm, Sat. 9 am to 6 pm and Sunday 12 pm to 9 pm.
