We call our website the Digital Branch Library because customers can do almost everything on our site that they can do in the physical building. That is the promise we make to you as we roll out our redesigned website!
The new site offers:
- Easy-to-find bestsellers and other popular new releases displayed on a virtual bookshelf.
- Videos, photos and blogs to help you relive programs you enjoyed or those you might have missed
- Music files, ebooks, audiobooks and even video for your portable media device or smartphone. Start here and end up in literary or musical heaven.
- Reserve a meeting room online.
- Instant message librarian with your burning questions
Our site’s navigation is now clearer and will drop down to reveal all the services, programs and collections we provide – as well as a link to our catalog(look under Find Stuff). Below the navigation, see important messages from your librarians.
We will continue to tweak our redesigned Digital Branch in the coming months. Please let us know if you see anything that needs fixing. Call David at 785-580-4601 or email webmaster@tscpl.org.

Other than that, looks like a nice change.

Genealogy has been dismembered and thrown to the wind. We need a Genealogy page for the genealogy computer room that has the database links and other resources needed by our patrons for their genealogy research.

So I followed the directions posted by Michael and still can’t get into my account. Where, oh where is the account log-in?????? This doesn’t work for me at all; it’s far from user friendly.

Where is the state library link to find downloadable audio books? I really don’t like the new site. I don’t even know how to login.

Larry – thanks for sharing. You should talk to Charity or Susan in the Topeka Room, and let them know your concerns. We’re all ears!

Jack – just click “Find Stuff”, then click “Audiobooks & Ebooks” – the link underneath “Downloads.”
Let me know if that doesn’t work for you!

I hate the upgrade. I can’t find where to log into my account. I can’t find the place to search for a title or an author. Please add these to your home page ASAP.

Judy – for now, click “Find Stuff” – the My Account link and the Search the Catalog links are all there.
We will be moving the My Account link up to the main page soon – that’s been bugging lots of people!

HI
I live in Belgium close to Gent in Europe, on saturday I brought six herman millar orange chairs from a local design fair…. I checked the reverse and found your address on the bottom of them.. for the legacy and my knowledge, have you got any pics of them in use in your library and can you give me any history.. FYI they sit in my kitchen now with a great view of the Flemish ardennes
thanks a lot
Graham
