The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library will be closed on the following dates in observance of the holidays:
Mon, Dec 24 Christmas Eve
Tue, Dec 25 Christmas Day
Mon, Dec 31 New Year’s Eve
Tue, Jan 1 New Year’s Day
Mon, Jan 21 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Additionally, Bookmobiles will not run Dec. 24 through Jan. 1 and Jan. 21.
The Millennium Café and the Chandler Booktique inside the library will also be closed during those dates. Shop for half-price books, books on CD, DVDs and other donated items on Dec. 29 and 30 and Jan. 15.

The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library is 21st-century landmark library and features the Alice C. Sabatini Art Gallery, the Millennium Café, the Chandler Booktique Gift Shop, meeting rooms, and free computer and Internet access and training.
Library hours are Mon. through Fri. 9 am to 9 pm, Sat. 9 am to 6 pm and Sunday 12 pm to 9 pm.
