The Wedding Neighborhood is Engaging

Brides-to-be, grooms-to-be, parents, hosts and friends – whatever your role in a wedding – we want you to know about all the useful books and DVDs in our new Wedding Neighborhood.

For your convenience we’ve created neighborhoods where related materials are housed together in one area, creating an engaging hub of inquiry and activity that becomes a browser’s paradise.

From books on cake decorating to CDs of popular wedding tunes, our resources are easier than ever to find – a bonus if you happen to be working with a bridezilla who has you running in a million directions.

“Our Wedding Neighborhood offers quick, convenient, one-stop browsing,” Scarlett Fisher-Herreman, Technical Services supervisor, said. “We hope to save you money by allowing you to check out these specialized books without having to buy them.”

A few of the newest titles to hit the Wedding Neighborhood shelves include Beautiful Wedding Flowers by Diane Wagner, The Everything Bridesmaid Book by Holly Lefevre and Digital Wedding Photography by Steve Sint.

If you have questions our librarians are always happy to assist. Shari Schawo is your Wedding Neighborhood specialist. The Wedding Neighborhood is located in the West Wing by the Cooking and Lawn & Garden Neighborhoods. Schedule an appointment for a tour at tscpl.org/reference-appointment.

“No stress. No sales pitch. Just come in and see our music CDs, planning guides, books on flowers, photography and a lot more,” Schawo said. “It’s a perfect resource to help a bride or people involved in planning a wedding.”
