Join the Critter Club this Summer

Each summer on the AdventureMobile, our mobile library for kids, customers get to meet and touch a new critter as part of the Critter Club! You too can join the adventure.

These critters range from tame snakes owned by library staff to kittens who are up for adoption at the Helping Hands Humane Society. As children get to know these critters, a little education is passed along by our informative librarians.

There’s 10 weeks to participate in the Critter Club, May 29–Aug. 3. Participate by hopping aboard the Adventuremobile at one of its scheduled stops and asking a librarian for a Critter Club Card. Customers get a sticker for each week they visit, and after seven trips, they receive a gift. The library does this every summer as part of Summerfest, our summer reading program.

Find out what the next critter will be by keeping tabs on tscpl.org. Here’s an archive list of visiting critters. Click in for fun facts about each animal.
