The Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library distributes the 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ forms from the IRS.
Instruction booklets and supplemental forms will not be available for distribution this year, they are available online at www.irs.gov or can be requested at 1-800-829-3676 .
Hours for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) at the library are
6-8:30 pm Tuesday, 3-8:30 pm Thursday and 1-4 pm Saturday,
starting Tue., Feb. 3rd and running through April 14th.

Due to the upcoming holidays and scheduled maintenance, the bookmobiles will be out of service Wednesday, December 24th and Thursday, December 25th. Additionally, the bookmobiles will not run from Monday, December 28th through Sunday, January 4th. They will resume their regular schedule on Monday, January 5th.
