For a $3 investment, cardholders receive $1 off used books in the Chandler Booktique for every month of the year, plus an extra $1 off on their birthday.
The purpose of Junior Friends is to encourage literacy and create positive experiences for youth at the library.
Children ages 0-18 can become Junior Friends members. Adults can model the way by becoming members of the Friends of the Library, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the library’s collections, services and programs.
Both Friends and Junior Friends receive a 10 percent discount on purchases of books, CDs and other merchandise (gift merchandise excluded) at the Chandler Booktique.
