During National Library Week, April 10-16, we’re launching the “Geek the Library” campaign, a community-based public awareness campaign designed to highlight the vital role of the public library in today’s challenging environment.

What do you geek? Superheroes? Worms? Football? Whatever it is, the library is here to help you foster that passion. Do you want to share your passion with the world? Stop by the atrium April 12, 13 & 14 from 3-5 pm and tell us what you “geek.” Have your picture taken and maybe score some free swag.

Visit www.geekthelibrary.org for more information about how you can support Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library.

‘Geek the Library’ is brought to you by OCLC and funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. OCLC is a nonprofit library cooperative that has provided services to help libraries deliver more to their users for four decades.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation works to help all people lead healthy, productive lives. In the U.S., it seeks to ensure that all people-especially those with the fewest resources-have access to the opportunities they need to succeed.

Get your geek on. Show your support.
