I have been getting many gardening catalogs lately which really makes me want to go out and start digging in my garden. However, it is only February which is just way to cold to do anything in the garden. So, I went online and found the most interesting website/blog http://awaytogarden.com/ This website is written by Margaret Roach, who at one time was the garden editor for Martha Stewart. She is now just gardening and writing this website. Her website has been called the best gardening blog by the New York Times. I think one of the most interesting aspects of her blog is the frogboys. These frogs actually live in her ponds and she is always blogging about them. But she also has some great gardening recommendations too.

After looking at her blog, I wondered if we had her book A way to garden: a hands-on primer for every season. And the library does have a copy of it. This book has some great gardening suggestions for every season of the year. Besides gardening advice, the book has wonderful photographs of flowers and vegetables. So, if you are like me and getting anxious to garden, try reading A way to garden both online as well as the book. Be sure and let me know what you think.
