Oh yes, I do know it is January. And who would think of doing gardening now? Well, most gardeners do because, if you are like me, the seed catalogs are coming. I must get at least 2 different seed catalogs a week. So, now is the time to be thinking of what you want to plant with seeds. And to start the gardening season off, the Master Gardeners will be here on January 17th in the Anton Room from 7:00-8:00 pm for Starting Seeds.
The Master Gardeners have done many programs. (This is their 3rd year here at the library) and they have great information that will help you with all of your gardening needs. Besides the Master Gardeners, the library has the Lawn and Garden Neighborhood with all kinds of gardening books and DVDs to also help you start and maintain your garden.
Besides this program on Starting Seeds, the Master Gardeners will be here just about every month presenting on all kinds of gardening topics. From starting tomatoes to drip irrigation the Master Gardeners have all kinds of information for all of us gardeners.
So mark your calendars and I hope to see you January 17 for Starting Seeds. Let’s get this garden party started!!
