Pinkalicious Party

Listen to fabulous stories from the Pinkalicious series, take part in a pink exchange and watch a preview of the Topeka Civic Theatre and Academy’s Youth production of Pinkalicious the Musical during the Pinkalicious Party, August 1 at 7pm in Marvin Auditorium.

Youngsters enjoy this silly book about a little girl who LOVES the color pink. She becomes what she eats – pink cupcake and then another pink cupcake and then another… until her skin turns pink! She doesn’t stop until she morphs into red!

Sisters and authors Elizabeth and Victoria Kann, team up to create a series of Pinkalicious adventures. Whimsical and witty, this best-selling book is colorfully illustrated by Victoria. It is inspired by the observance of her own daughter’s imaginary play.

Wear pink and let us take your picture. Bring something pink to exchange for something pink. Sit for a face painting. Make a craft and receive a balloon. You can even frost your own cupcake. Listen to the reading of the book and check out one to take home. You’ll be seeing PINK!

Pinkalicious the Musical will be performed by the beginning August 10 through 19. Tickets go on sale July 31 at http://www.topekacivictheatre.com or call the box office 357-5211.
