Friends of the Library Book Swap Set for May 3

Saturday, May 3, 2014  |  1-3pm  |  Alice C. Sabatini Gallery

It is your opportunity to pick out to new-to-you books and turn in some books you are ready to donate.  You can donate as many books as you want and receive a voucher allowing you to pick out up to 10 books to take home.

This is how it works: If you donated 3 books, you can pick out 3 books to take home. If you donated 7 books, you can pick out 7 books to take. If you donated 13 books, you can take 10 books home. Any amount over 10 is a donation.

Call Mary if you have any questions (785-580-4445). Don’t forget to bring a bag, box or something to use to get your books home.

This is a Friends-only event. Memberships will be sold at the door.

While you are there, enjoy the best of the best in printmaking from across the nation in the Printed Image 5 exhibit on display in the gallery.  The Printed Image and the Topeka Competition have been sponsored by the Friends for years.

May 1-5 most of the library will be closed as we update our checkout system. But don’t let the closed sign scare you off. During this time, the gallery will be open its regular hours, and the Book Swap, along with other scheduled meetings, will occur.
