Load Up on Books for Just $5/Bag

Book bargain shoppers can stuff brown grocery bags (provided) full of books for just $5 a bag at the Friends of the Library Bag Day Book Sale on Sat., July 26, 2014 from 10am–1pm (or until sold out). This one-day sale includes both hardbound and paperback books on all topics including children’s, health, large print, mystery and suspense.

“Plan on arriving early for the best selection,” said Laura Schmidt, Chandler Booktique manager. “This sale offers a wide variety of books, from best sellers to children’s books. And, if you fill up one bag, you can always purchase more bags.”

The bag sale is held in Marvin Auditorium, but shoppers will also find bargains across the hall at the Chandler Booktique used book and gift store.

The Chandler Booktique is open Monday through Friday, 10 am until 6 pm, Saturday 10 am until 5 pm and Sunday noon until 5 pm. The Friends also operate an online bookstore of rare and collectible books. Click for online deals.
