The beautiful color photography and the charming design of the book will make you turn the pages to see the next over-the-top dessert. The author gives great explanations for the different ingredients that she uses and for the most part these ingredients are available in Topeka. For instance, I made Ooh! Brown Sugar! And Almond Pound Cake for my co-workers here at the library. The recipe called for almond flour and I did not think that the grocery stores here would have it. Well, I was wrong. They did have almond flour. The cake received rave reviews from everyone who tried it. I have also made the Banana Bread Pudding with Hot Fudge and Toasted Walnuts and my husband loved it. So, if you are ready for some desserts to die for, come and check out this book.
