A few weeks ago, I had an opportunity to see Paula Deen in person. What a treat that was. She was so cordial and such a personable person. Her new cookbook, The Deen Family Cookbook is also available now and it looks like a good one. If you like Paula Deen you will not be disappointed.
The photography is wonderful and the recipes look very easy. Of course, if you know Paula Deen she does use butter and these recipes are no exception. Each recipe also has a little story about her family to go with it. I have not tried any of her recipes yet but I hope to soon. If you like Paula Deen you will love this cookbook, so come to the library and check it out.
