I love any recipe that calls for lemon. So, when I saw the new cookbook, Baked: New frontiers in baking, and saw the recipe for Lemon Lemon Loaf, I had to try it. I am so glad I did. The Lemon Lemon Loaf was very good. It had lemon in the pound cake, a lemon glaze and lemon frosting. What is so interesting about this recipe is that you make most of it in a food processor. The authors, Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito were in advertising but in 2005, they opened their bakery called Baked. Since then the authors have been featured on Oprah as well as on Martha Stewart. Their brownie recipe has been rated the best by America’s Test Kitchen. I plan on trying the brownie recipe but I really want to try the Root Beer Bundt Cake. This cake has root beer as well as chocolate. It would not be my first choice but it sounds very intriguing.
