It is a few days after Thanksgiving and I am already tired of Thanksgiving leftovers. So, what did I do for dinner on Sunday? I tried out a new recipe from Ina Garton better known as the Barefoot Contessa. I made her Pappa Al Pomidoro which is just tomato soup. But it does not use any cream. It uses ciabata bread instead. It does not take any time but was quite tasty. This recipe is in her new book, Barefoot Contessa Back to Basics: How to get great flavors from basic ingredients. I also made her cheddar biscuits to go with it. They are very good and not hard either.
