The library is more than a place, and it is more than the people who make up its community. It is a platform that reaches throughout Shawnee County to extend lifelong learning to all. In order to pursue community aspirations identified in our strategic planning, the library needs to be mobile and it needs to be present at the table. Our outreach programs seek to nourish imaginations, improve quality of life and strengthen economic vitality in the community.
