It was after school, and a young teacher, Elizabeth Williams, was working late in her classroom when the killer struck brutally murdering her. Detectives Danny Beckett and Jennifer Tanaka are called to the grisly scene where they discover little, except that the main clue might be what isn’t at the scene because the victim’s left hand is missing.
With few leads, Danny begins to focus on the teacher’s life only to hear that she had no enemies. Everyone has secrets, though, including the teacher and even the detectives investigating the murder. Lives are exposed and the past is never far away in A King of Infinite Space by Tyler Dilts. This tightly woven mystery paints a picture of detectives on the edge and yet they will stop at nothing to get to the truth.
