Meet Kansas Poet Matthew Porubsky

Matt Porubsky will join forces with Thomas Fox Averill, of Washburn University, for a night of fertile poetry Thursday, March 15 from 6-7pm in Marvin Auditorium 101C.

Porubsky will read exclusively from his newest collection of poems Fire Mobile (the pregnancy sonnets) recently released from Woodley press. The book takes a close look at the progression of pregnancy physically, mentally and spiritually.

Averill will read new material from his collection of Garden Plots prose poems and comment about Topeka and the poets who it produces.
