finding stefanieFinding Stephanie by Susan May Warren is a light, romantic escape that also uplifted my spirit with its focus on the outcast being made whole through God’s love.

Stephanie Noble loves her life with horses on her family’s ranch in Montana. Sure, she doesn’t have love in her life, but past hurts have taught her that love and dreams can hurt.

Lincoln Cash has built a Hollywood career on his reputation of being able to handle his own stunts and playing the hero on the screen.  So when his body begins to betray him he wants nothing more than to get away from the pressures of his movie star life to the quietness of the Montana ranch he just recently purchased–a ranch that is right next to Stephanie’s.

As you can guess, these two are destined for a love story…but one with many twists and turns.  Especially since a trio of orphaned siblings enters the mix–headed up by Gideon, a troubled teen who wants desperately to keep his family together.  Stephanie, who loves to work with abused horses finds her heart also drawn to working with these hurting kids–but finds it tough going when her desire to help them conflicts with her neighbors, government agencies, and even her new love interest at times.  I enjoyed picking up Stephanie and Lincoln’s story when I needed a break from the stresses of the day, it was enjoyable to see their romance unfold–and at times I couldn’t wait to see how they were going to escape the very real dangers that came their way.  I also greatly enjoyed seeing how God’s love lead them through everything and most importantly, helped them heal from their past mistakes.

This book is part of the Noble Legacy series, but can be read on its own.  Of course if you enjoy Warren’s romance with a touch of suspense you’ll want to check out the other books in the series, as well as her other inspirational fiction titles.

Happy reading!
