All Booked Up: The Invisible Bridge

All Booked Up host Kathy does what she does best, tells us about a new, wonderful book to read. This week it’s The Invisible Bridge by Julie Orringer.

The Invisible Bridge tells the story of three brothers from a Jewish family. This work of historical fiction is set in Hungary and in Paris in the 1930s. There’s a mystery involved, as well as tragedy centered around the Holocaust. Orringer did a tremendous amount of research about the Holocaust and the time period to tell a story that will make you think and haunt you long after you’ve finished the book, Kathy said.

This book is a saga, about 600 pages, and as expected hits on difficult subject matter. But Kathy assures her co-host Diana, and the rest of us, that it ends well.
