Holly Brennan didn’t expect to be a widow at thirty-two. And she didn’t expect to be obese, with all of her extra pounds (from months of eating comfort food) now crammed into the coach section of an airplane next to an attractive personal trainer. Logan Montgomery expects his clients to be top athletes and his girlfriends to be vacuous blondes. When Logan unexpectedly offers to take Holly on as a client, to help her get back in shape, neither of them could predict what would come of his offer.
If you were expecting a TV sitcom romantic adventure like the Stephanie Plum series, this book isn’t going to be what you are expecting. But, this book is still sexy and funny and honest in a way that I appreciated very much.
This book won’t meet the expectations of readers who are hoping to find a new Evanovich. But if you enjoy chick-lit, contemporary romance or women’s fiction and want to be inspired by the diet-and-exercise journey of a witty and admirable character like Holly Brennan, then I recommend Big Girl Panties!
