Curate This! Shades of Perception

April 28–June 15, 2014 | Sabatini Gallery (front gallery)

Regional high school students have collaborated to curate this exhibit from the gallery’s permanent collection. This year’s show is inspired by the psychology behind perspective, with a focus on how people’s perspectives are formed in relation to scientific and cultural discoveries.

Support these future artists, museum directors and curators by attending the Opening Reception Friday, May 2 from 5-8:30pm. (The gallery will be open for this First Friday, though the rest of the library will be closed as we update our check out system.)

Our guest teen curators this year are:
Anna Ahrens, Topeka High School
Kayla Marple, Washburn Rural High School
Kelsie Middaugh, Lawrence High School
Mira Ram, Washburn Rural High School

What is Curate This?

Part classroom and part independent study, we are willing to work with instructors to monitor student progress and credit her/him for grading purposes.

Contact our art educator, Betsy Roe, if you or someone you know is interested in participating in 2015 at 785-580-4577 or eroe@tscpl.org.
