Additional Employment Information

To be considered for employment at Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library, an official TSCPL employment application must be completed. Some job postings may have further application requirements, so please check each job announcement for additional/specific application requirements (i.e.: cover letter, resume, etc.).

Regardless of the application requirements it is recommended that applicants attach a cover letter and resume to the completed TSCPL job application. Application materials may be handed in at the Human Resources Office on the second floor of the library. Human Resource office hours are M-F, 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. If the HR office is not open, applications may be dropped off at the Information Desk or the Circulation Desk.

A completed and signed TSCPL job application is required for consideration. Please review the job posting for the job closing date to assure timely arrival of the application. Mailed applications will be accepted if they are postmarked on or before the closing date. Applications are kept on file for 30 days.
